Weird Weather

And suddenly, the quality of the light changed and the whole world was bathed in a golden hue.  I turned around and faced the breeze that had begun to gust to find a remarkable rainbow had formed over the hillside just up from my home.

Watching the sun
wend its way
downward
toward the end
of a wondrous day

A Fall Away

Happening by degrees, the turning of maple trees, green becoming red colored leaves. Season to season brings endless change.

How I Began Photography

My Aunt left me money when she passed.  I had never known her.  It is in her memory that I offer these pictures, from those humble beginnings with my first Canon EOS to today’s 7D.  I offer my unending gratitude to her and to my parents for allowing me to spend the entire sum on a dream.
